  Tony Hart - Charities

However, you can see some of the Tony Hart Hartoon menagerie dotted about the various pages of this latest Tony Hart website. But he still turns out to help charities, schools and art festivals if they are located close to his home in Shamley Green, Surrey.

For some of the charities supported by Tony Hart, see below.

Tony Hart's Youth in Action, Mencap, Cot Death Research & Support, Cystic Fibrosis, Bernardo's Champion Children Awards, Children of Courage Awards, Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, National Deaf Association; Great Ormond Street Hospital, Young Deaf Association, Dyslexia Trust; Commonwealth Institute for the Blind, Age Concern, Gurkha Welfare Trust, Cancer Research, Surrey Police, Surrey County Council etc.

Tony At Work
Take Hart

Tony has always been ready to help charities, and over the past 50 years he has given his services to help a great many of these organisations, some of which are listed on the right.

This unpaid work has taken up about one third of his working life. Many of you will have seen Tony rapidly drawing his giant animal Hartoons, which were then auctioned to the enthusiastic audience at great speed by his sidekick, Roc Renals, often for very large sums. He also donated smaller Hartoons for charities to auction.

Sadly, with the advancing years Tony has been forced to reduce his charitable workload, and his personal appearance have become less frenetic because he had to give up drawing the Hartoons that have given so much pleasure to so many people.
